System identification using ultrasound

This project, in short named Acoustic Keyboard, was developed for а Bulgarian company. It includes the development of the hardware and software of a system for identification using ultrasound. The goal was to develop an intelligent system which identifies the location of the “point if touch” on a surface. The surfaces could be of different kind of materials and structures, such as wood, metal or plastic plates. To learn the different states, training of the system and point of touch identification was performed.Telilab team developed specialized pattern recognition and ML based algorithms. Additionally, a hardware module interfacing the ultrasound drivers was developed and included in a microcontroller based platform.
