Assoc. Prof. Agata Manolova is with the Faculty of Telecommunications at the Technical University of Sofia (TU-Sofia), Bulgaria. She finished her PhD conjointly between the TU-Sofia and the Joseph Fourier University, Grenoble, France. Her domains of interest are Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision, Statistics, Image and Video processing, Biometrics, Processing of EEG, EMG signals, Ambient Assisting Living Systems. Dr. Manolova has participated in several scientific projects both national and international. She has published more than 40 papers in conferences and journals. She is laureate of Fulbright scholarship for 2013 working at the Computer Vision Laboratory at the Little Rock University, Arkansas, USA on a project concerning recognition of human emotions. Assoc. prof. Manolova is an IEEE member. She is teaching courses for Bachelor and Master degree students both in English and French language.
